10 dead in two Churches attack in Kenya

Ten people are reported to have been killed and many more injured in two different attacks in two Churches in Garissa,the headquarters of NorthEastern Province on Sunday,July 01 as worshippers went on with Sunday services in the morning..
Confirming the incident NorthEastern Deputy PPO Mr.Philip Ndolo said that 10 people were injured at the Africa Inland Church (AIC) while three people were injured at a Catholic Church.
The attacks were carried simultaneously on Catholic Church and the AIC Church as the faithful was in the morning sermons.
He said no one had been arrested for the two incidents but Police were following more leads on the people who committed the crime but could not confirm immediately if they were linked to the Al-Shabaab group from Somalia or common criminal in Kenya.
