1.Mukurweini
Kabando wa Kabando who is
also an Assistant Minister for Sports is the current Member of Parliament for
Mukurweini constituency and also a former top leader of Students Organization
of Nairobi University.
He was born in August 1967
and frequently speaks in Parliament. He fought bitterly some time back when a
report by a certain organization in Kenya questioned his development record in
his constituency which they concluded it was poor but in an interview with his
constituent they said he is doing a good work. He is also a good debater in Parliament
and has served well in executing his duties as Sports Assistant Minister.
Kabando who was elected on a
Safina Party holds an MA in Public Policy and Management from State University
of New York and a BA in Political Science from University of Nairobi.
He was once worked as the
Chairman of the Nairobi Water and Sewerage Company between 2003-2007
His message to Kenyans is “Let’s promote integrity, passion
for economic empowerment and compassion for the poor”.
2.Nyeri Town
Born on September 21,1953 Esther Murugi Mathenge is the MP
for Nyeri town which is the headquarters of Central Province the home county of
President Mwai Kibaki who is serving his last term in office.
She is also the Minister for Special programmes in Kenyan
Government and is regarded as an average leader both in development and
leadership skills in her constituency.

Esther is a staunch member of Catholic Church
and began her Primary School in 1960 and completed in 1966 at Githiru Primary
school where she completed her Standard seven class.
In 1967 she enrolled at Highland school in Edoret for form 1
and completed her form 6 at the same school in 1972.Esther who was among the
brightest students in the school passed well and was admitted at the University
of Nairobi between 1972-1977 where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Land economics.
She once worked as a Lands officer for the Kenyan Government
between 1977 to 1980 and her message to Kenyans is for all communities to Co-exist
well of give special respect and love to the vulnerable.
