Mourning the
death of security officer
We are deeply
saddened and shocked by the accident that occurred at the Isiolo-Meru junction
on the afternoon of Thursday, June 28 in which a vehicle carrying 33 security
officers from G4S company heading to Isiolo for the Safaricom Lewa Marathon was
involved in a grisly accident in which one of our officer a Cardet Zipporah
Muriithi, a security officer at the East Africa Breweries Limited died on the
spot.
My colleagues
and I wish the other officers who were taken to the nearest hospital and others
airlifted to Nairobi for specialized treatment after sustaining minor and
serious injuries a quick recovery and mourn with the family of the late Muriithi,
May God rest her soul in eternal peace and others who were seriously injured
were airlifted to
Vincent
Achesa.
