Down Memory Lane with Dr.Julia Ojiambo


Dr.Julia Ojiambo is a veteran Kenya politician and one of the few women to vie for a seat of Member of Parliament in Kenya for Funyula constituency once held by former Vice-President Mr. Moody Awori.She once also served as the Director of KANU during the era of retired President Moi.

Dr.Ojiambo who is a scholar, mother and grandmother is the Chairperson of a Political party in Kenya called Labour Party of Kenya and a crusader of women and youth rights.
Among her children is Ambassador Dr. Josephine Ojiambo the of Kenya Mission to the United Nations in New York

  1. Really, is this all you could say about this illustrious lady? How dare you narrow her political experience to a mere attempts to vie for the seat "once held by former Vice President Moody Awori." For your information, Dr Ojiambo represented Samia, now Funyula for two terms from 1974 to 1983.

    If only you endeavoured to dig a little deeper, you would have unearthed a lot about Nadongo.
