Solve family issues at home-Court

By Albert Nyakundi
A Kisii based magistrate has told members of the public to solve family matters at home instead of rushing to courts. Addressing two men at Kisii law court who had been accused of creating disturbance by a relative on Thursday chief magistrate Ongijo warned that at times court rulings could damage family unity in the future. ''You are accused today of creating disturbance, tomorrow assault and finally grievous harm or murder.'' She however cautioned that while the law allows families to find alternative ways of solving problems it is upon the parties to decide.
