Speaking
in Nairobi on Friday, September 21 after opening the office of the Kenya
National Private Security Workers Union, Atwoli said that the minister`s action
to sack striking doctors who are exercising their rights was a pointer that the
he does not respect workers and should not seek treatment services from Kenyan
Doctors as the same doctors belong to the working fraternity.
The
fiery workers union leader also took a swipe at the Kenyan Cabinet decision to
sack the striking teachers saying that action will taint the country`s image
negatively and lead to her loss in even trading globally.
He
called on political leaders who are seeking for top seats in the March next
year General to take matters of workers seriously like defending them or else
workers show them ``dust`` in the elections.``Let them stay away far from us
but when election time nears they will follow us upto our bedrooms seeking for votes,
but you wait until next year I will show you who we vote for``,said Atwoli amid
praise from security guards who attended the function.

The
security workers union Secretary General Mr. Isaac Andabwa called on the
Government to look into the plight of guards workers seriously as they are
custodian of what is made in the Kenyan economy.
