KCB's central defender Dennis 'Grossor' Omondi is bereaved following the demise of his father on Friday evening at a Nairobi hospital.
The loss is double tragedy to the former Nairobi Stima player who just two months ago lost his first born son.
The late Opiyo Otieno is a former player with the defunct Kenyan Railways FC. The bankers head coach James 'Ojijo' Omondi was among the first people to send his condolences to the player.
Omondi is known for his composure on the ball as well as aerial threat in set pieces. In his 18 month stint with the club, he has been a regular starter partnering team skipper Joseph Kangata in manning the defense.
He now  joins  Gor Mahia top custodian  Jerim Onyango who lost his  sister recently.
Jerim who traveled to his hometown, Siaya, was expected to join his family  in burying her departed sister, Beatrice Anyango, on  Saturday Oct 6.
