Man Killed by Mob in Busia

A middle aged man was on the morning of  Wednesday,June 27 killed by a mob in  Madola area, Busia county as he was found stealing beans from a neighbors farm
The deceased who overpowered the owner of the farm, as they fought   disarming  him the panga he had and  slashed him on the head prompting him to make noise which attracted more villagers from the area who rushed to the scene and killed him.
Confirming the incident Busia Deputy OCPD Mr Francis Nguli  confirmed the incident and advised members of the public not to take action in their hands by killing suspects but report them to Police for legal action to be taken against them in courts.
Busia county which borders the neighboring Uganda   has of late witnessed a  series of crimes especially Butula district with majority of  wananchi interviewed by the Peace Forum Journal saying that Police in the area are sleeping on their job.
