A 56 years old man from Moi`s Bridge in TransNzoia county, Kenya is stranded at the Kikuyu Hospital in Kiambu County after being abandoned by his brother at the facility 7 months ago.

Nathan Barasa who through using a mobile phone of a good Samaritan on number 0726352314 called us this morning -Wednesday, September 12 saying that the hospital had detained him over nonpaid bill of Shs 250 000.

He said his brother, Martin Wanyonyi who took him to the hospital disappeared immediately he was admitted to the hospital.

Barasa however says that he has fully healed and ready to go back home and join his family if not for the hefty medical bill.

He said that he has not had any communication with his wife Josephine Simiyu as his mobile phone was stolen around Globe Cinema in Nairobi when he was being taken to the hospital.

He is now appealing for help from well wishers to enable him clear the medical bill and reunite with his family.

He was admitted at the hospital’s general ward where he was receiving ulcer treatment.

However, after a successful treatment, he has since been transferred transferred to the Eye Unit ward.

Our efforts to talk to the Hospital Administration were fruitless as the hospital number went on unanswered
