Football Kenya Federation restructure various committees

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has restructured its various
committees that will now oversee the development of the game.
  The Federation held its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting
on Thursday in line with the new constitution whereby all the
Committees will now be chaired by a NEC member.
   Robert Asembo will head the Finance docket that was earlier held by
Tom Alila. The latter was elbowed out of the powerful position after
showing interest in politics where he will be vying for a
parliamentary seat in Nthiwa constituency in Nyanza province.
    Elly Mukolwe will head the referees and Technical/Training matters
while Doris Petra will handle FKF competitions and Football committees
docket.
 Other positions are Women Football (Angeline Mwikali), Youth Football
(Terry Hussein), Marketing, TV rights, Media publicity and Strategic
studies (George Wainaina), while Futsal & Beach Football that was
handled by suspended Sammy Sholei has been handed to Tom Alila.
  Federation Chairman Sam Nyamweya will head the Emergency committee
while Ahmed Siad will handle Sports Medicine docket.      Nyamweya
further disclosed that his committee will soon announce the other
members to sit in the said committee’s .The committees, he added,
shall assist the federation jumpstart its development activities.
