Barcelona rated the best club in the World by IFFHS

The International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS),
which chronicles the history and records of association football, has
published its latest ranking of the best 400 football clubs in the
world.

FC Barcelona retain the first position with 346 points while CD
Universidad de Chile Santiago come second with 317 points followed by
Real Madrid with 293 points.

CAF reigning champions Esperance Tunis are the first African team to
appear on the list with 149 points at 61st position, gaining 10 places
from the previous ranking and besting Portugal’s Benfica and Turkish
side Fenerbahçe.

Sudanese side Al Hila Omdurman are rated second African club, sitting
at 82nd position on the list with 127 points ahead of Russian teams
Rubin Kazan and Trabzonspor K Trabzon.

Nigeria’s Sunshine Stars raked 104 points to be Africa’s third team on
the list, appearing 140 overall and on tie with Newcastle United and
three other clubs.
