Mandera County

Mandera County is located in the North Eastern part of Kenya, it borders Ethiopia to the North, Somalia Republic to the East, and Wajir County to the South and South West. It has  3 constituencies (Mandera East, Mandera Central and Mandera West)

The MPS are

1.Mandera East Mohamed Hussein alias ``Qaras` went to Arabia Primary school and Mandera DEB before proceeding to Wajir Boys High School  for Secondary Education.Upon completion he joined Kenyatta University in 1995 for his BA in Mathematics.
His last Jobs were  at  General Manager, Hass Petroleum (K) Sharjah-UAE. He  once also worked as an Assistant systems analysts for Kenya Railways.

2.Mandera Central  MP Abdikadir Mohamed

Born in 1971 elected on a Safina party in the 2007 elections he is a Masters degree in law holder  from the  the Harvard University and attended Alliance High School until 1978.He also holds a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Nairobi which he got in 1993.

3. Mandera West MP Ambassador Mohamed Maalim was born  on July 4, 1953, in Mandera, he is a civil engineer and former diplomat.Mohamud is a member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering and a Masters of Science  degree in environmental engineeringfrom theUniversity of Nairobi. He has been awarded the Chief of the Order of the Burning Spear (CBS) by the President of Kenya.He is a former Ambassador and Permanent Secrtary.
